I am pleased to announce that Conference on "THE BENEFITS OF DEPOSIT INSURANCE
IN AFRICA" and IADI Africa Region Committee General Meeting (ARC) will
be held from 29th through 30th July, 2010 in Arusha,
Tanzania instead of Dar es Salaam as announced earlier.
All IADI members, DIS Non IADI members,
Central Banks, Associates, Observers and Partners are cordially invited to
participate in the Conference. For interested participants, please register
yourselves using the registration form which is available on this site (http://ww.bot-tz.org/DepositInsuranceBoard/IADI-ARC-2010/Default.asp). Submit the dully filled form
via email or fax, to reach the Conference Secretary not later than 10th

Naura Springs Hotel in Arusha. Negotiated room rates and reservation

As regards to entry visa to Tanzania, please see the
Travel Information page for information on
who must apply for a visa. Generally, those who must apply for a visa are
required to contact the Tanzania Embassy, High Commission or Consulate in their country.
In the case of this conference, if there is no Tanzania Embassy or Consulate in your country, you are advised to send copies
of relevant pages of your passport to our Visa Coordinator,
Ms Zalia Mbeo (zambeo@hq.bot-tz.org),
who shall render the necessary assistance for you to obtain the required entry
visa to Tanzania.
The
Deposit Insurance Board has arranged an optional excursion program to Ngorongoro National Park on day 3 of the
conference (31st July, 2010). The cost of the excursion is USD 178 per
delegate. All details of the
excursion program are available at
the About The Conference page. Please indicate your willingness to
attend the excursion to the Conference Secretary or to
Naura Springs Hotel.
