VISION

MISSION STATEMENT

To promote, develop and strengthen SACCOS in Tanzania by providing unique and diversified financial goods and services in competitive environment that will assist individual members to alleviate poverty, command respect and dignity where equity and justice will prevail in line with Co-operative principles.

MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA

A SACCOS wish to be SCCULT member: 
- Must be a registered one and must have a certified copy of resolution .
- Must be established within saving and credit societies principles, and   operating practices as required by its by-laws. 
- Must be in a good financial position

Members are obliged to pay the following:
- Entrance fee
- At least two shares
- League annual subscription fee
- Central finance program savings and loans
- Any contribution as may be required by the SCCULT

All applications for membership  shall finally be considered and approved by the union league general meeting.

CURRENT MEMBERSHIP

There are 1507 registered SACCOS  with 217,248 individual members but only 761 are active SACCOS. 
SACCOS affiliated to SCCULT count to 657 with 92,687 individual members. 242 SACCOS are Rural SACCOS where as 415 are Urban SACCOS.
