Report of the Auditors
As auditors appointed under Section 21(3) of the Bank of Tanzania Act , 1995 , we have examined the attached Balance Sheet of Bank of Tanzania as at 30th June ,2000 , the related Profit and Loss Account and the Cash Flow Statement for the year ended on that date. Our examination was made in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and accordingly included such tests of the accounting records and such other auditing procedures as we considered necessary.
In our opinion , the accompanying Balance Sheet , Profit and Loss Account and the Cash Flow Statement present fairly the financial position of the Bank of Tanzania as at 30th June , 2000 , its profit and cash flows for the year ended on that date.
