Message from the Principle
During the year 2012, the Institute will continue to offer a number of demand-driven training interventions to develop knowledge and skills for staff of the banking sector.
The courses contained in this Brochure for year 2012, is the outcome of the Training Needs Analysis (TNA) that was conducted by the Institute between October and November 2011. The objective was to establish whether the courses that were conducted in the previous year were still relevant. It also gave room for identification of new courses to conform to the ever changing market conditions.
Thus, the results from the TNA confirmed that most of the courses conducted last year were still relevant to the operations of banks and other financial institutions. The highest demand was on Risk Management, Credit Management for banks, Mortgage Financing and Prudential Guidelines courses. A new product which was identified in the survey is Shariah (Islamic) Banking.
From the outcome of the survey mentioned above I hereby present our 2012 Training Brochure for courses of banks and other financial institutions. The Institute continues to appreciate the partnership and support provided by various institutions by sponsoring candidates to our courses. We therefore urge you to take this advantage by sponsoring as many candidates as possible in various courses which suit your needs.
You are highly welcome.
