Organization Structure
The Training Institute is an integral part of the Bank of Tanzania. Its administrative systems and procedures are approved by the Board of Directors while its training activities are guided by an Advisory Council which is under the Chairmanship of the Deputy Governor (Administration and Internal Controls).
The Management of the Institute is headed by the Principal who is assisted by Three Managers heading Departments of Training, Learning & Development and Finance & Administration.
Training Department has got two divisions viz. Programmes Coordination and Library Divisions. The Finance and Administration Department has three Divisions: Accounts, Estate and Human Resource. Learning and Development department on the other hand is segmented into two sections namely Planning and Operations sections. Currently total employees at the Training Institute stands at thirty.

To effectively facilitate the development of Central Banking knowledge and skills commensurate with the Bank of Tanzania objectives.

Grow into a superior and dynamic Training Institution of excellence that promotes effectiveness of the role of the Central Banking Functions.
